Matt Mendrun won the light-heavy novice class at the 2011 IFBB California State Bodybuilding Championships on May 28 in Culver City, however he lost the novice overall to Kelly Rodriguez. It's not a sensation result but his pics with photographer James Franklin are the fondation of a legend... a new icon is born !
Matt Mendrun (5'10",222) is born in 1984. His first competition: he placed third in the novice heavyweight class at the 2007 Pacific USA Naturals Bodybuilding & Figure Championships.
